Pedas Version 1.2

RCS Ltd. launched their latest version of the Patient dosimetry software PEDAS^© Ver 1.2 at MED X RAY 1998 at the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham in May 1998.

PEDAS is a computer based dosimetry system which runs under Windows 3.1 or 95^TM on any PC. Designed for rapid entrance dose calculations, PEDAS utilises quality assurance data taken from x-ray equipment tests and examination exposure factors to make an accurate assessment of entrance/surface dose to the patient

Data is stored in the form of a Paradox^TM table where it is used for statistical analysis of dose trends within the department and for comparison with national standards.

PEDAS provides:

Rapid and accurate entrance dose calculations.
Statistical analysis of departmental doses.
Comparison of departmental doses with NRPB reference values.
Unlimited number of doses measurement.
